1

Benefit from JOKA's comprehensive service! We send our customers a sample of the processed fabric or leather with every product so that the matching furnishings can be selected and the colour fastness of the material can be tested before using a cleaning agent!

2

To clean your JOKA products, use the JOKA cleaning sets that you can find in the JOKA showrooms and at JOKA specialist dealers.

3

The wooden parts of JOKA products should be wiped dry and the cover parts should be dusted regularly with a soft brush or hoover.

4

It is best to operate the extendable parts of your JOKA product in the middle (see operating instructions). When changing places, please lift the furniture by the supporting frame and avoid pulling on the arm sections or rear wall.

5

For optimal sleeping comfort, we recommend using a JOKA slatted frame or underbed when purchasing a JOKA mattress.

6

Please protect wooden parts from water, acids, alcohol and continuous exposure to heat. Please note that it lies in the nature of wood to deviate from the pattern in terms of colour and structure.

7

Upholstery fabrics, upholstery material and also wooden parts are by their very nature fire hazards, please also bear this in mind when consuming cigarettes and handling a lighter or match.

8

Due to the stress on the upholstery, superficial changes such as folds and hollows may become visible in relation to the duration and type of use. These visual changes result from the individual "living" of your furniture and have no decisive influence on use, function or service life and therefore do not represent a material defect.

Upholstery Fabrics & Leather

Colour fastness:
Please note that no guarantee can be given for the exact colour match of the sample viewed at the time of purchase and the furniture delivered, as colour deviations between the sample and the processed material are possible, especially with natural fibres and leather. In addition, 100% colour fastness cannot be guaranteed for dyeing reasons.

Light fastness:
Please take care not to expose your JOKA furniture to sunlight for weeks without protection, as both wooden parts and upholstery fabrics could change colour.

Shimmering:
Particularly with fabrics such as velour, velvet or plush, depending on the incidence of light or the viewing angle, the impression is created that the fabric has lighter and darker patches, which are also perceived as differences in colour. This effect is called oscillation and does not represent a material or processing defect.

Seat mirror:
When an upholstered piece of furniture is subjected to wear and tear due to body weight and heat, as well as body and air humidity, a wear spot can occur, especially in fabrics such as velour, velvet, plush and microfibres. This is considered to be a typical characteristic of these fabrics and does not constitute grounds for complaint.
